We are the Champions of the United Nations of Civilizations competition at  the 5th Global Forum in Vienna! Our photo “Sharing the power of Media” became the first prize winner in the category “Freedom of Media matters”. Congratulations to Ishraq and Nada and the whole Chair El-Hamra middle school in Marrakech where we created this and many other wonderful pictures for the competition!

The Alliance invited us to the Global Forum in Vienna to celebrate the victory.

Radijojo has received the World Summit Youth Award  in Montreal (Canada).

The award was received in Montreal by Radijojo’s Founder & Editor in Chief Thomas Röhlinger and Fatima Boulhdoud, junior producer of “We are the future of Morocco”.

Please read Fatima’s report about her World Summit Youth Award Experience to learn more about this exciting milestone event for Radijojo and our work in Morocco.

On the occasion of the 8th UNESCO Youth Forum, we have joined the International Photo competition by UNESCO and the global students organization ISIC. And guess what: Our entry is officiallly nominated as one the very best of the world!!!!

Our photo shows our junior producer Aimad Elgnaoui at our workshop with the children in Tamansourt. Aimad has once started as member in one of our workshops – and is now empowering kids in Morocco to use media to express themselves, to speak up for Peace, Children’s Rights and Cultural exchange. We are so excited, encouraged and honored – whoohooooo!!!!

Radijojo’s founder & editor in Chief, Thomas Röhlinger, has received the Communication for Sustainable Social Change Award 2012 of University of Amherst, Massachusetts (USA). Here is the official certificate:

These awards honor our work all across the globe – and our Morocco projects have siginificantly contributed to these successes.

Congratulations to all children, youth, educators, parents, staff, friends, supporters who made this possible!!!
