The students in Mae Sai have done a great job with this vegetable garden! At the centre, the children learn about organic gardening among other vocational skills, such as weaving, sewing and cooking. They take care of this garden everyday and grow all sorts of vegetables, that we then use to cook healthy lunches for all of our students. Many of them are girls who lived to see a very hard childhood.

This project is part of Development and Education Programme for Daughters and Communities Centre in the Greater Mekong Sub-region.
