Wow – that was a fantastic final highlight for “We are the future of Morocco!” 2012:

We spoke directly to the United Nations Headquarters in New York!

Straight from our school assembly hall in Marrkech, we had a video conference with Stephanie Durand and Anne GrobetТ who are very important persons of the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UN AoC)!

We talked about many many crucial global issues:

• the situation of children in Africa
• about the importance of education all around the world
• about migration which is another big global challenge Anne and Stephanie are working on
• about how the UN is supporting Peacebuilding worldwide and in the Middle East
• and: we shared one of the songs for Children’s rights that we created during our workshop.

The feedback was excellent: We are invited for more such exciting media collaborations with the UN AoC now!
