Angel is the granddaughter of famous chimpanzee researcher and UN messenger of peace Jane Goodall. Jane also initiated the youth program Roots and Shoots.

Angel travelled across Europe to meet Roots and Shoots groups and to promote this initiative.  And she visited us – the Global Green Kids from Anna Lindh primary school in Berlin.

We spend a whole day with Angel.  We visited an organic farm together and discussed about every day life in Tansania and Germany. Also weather was a big topic.  It it spring time in Germany and in comparism  with Tansania – very, very cold.

But even Angel was freezing almost the whole day, she explained us so many things about the work of her grandmother, about Roots and Shoots and about all the little things we children can do to make the earth a better place!
